Bharati | Baluchari Saree

• Baluchari and Swarnachari are exquisite, handwoven silk sarees from Bengal (primarily Bankura) known for featuring detailed, hand-loomed mythological scenes from epics like the Ramayana and Mahabharata on their pallus. While traditional Balucharis use Resham (silk) threads, Swarnachari incorporates gold or silver zari, giving them a more opulent, luminous sheen.

Dry clean only. To protect the delicate threads of the sari, please avoid any pressure on the tips- avoid brush cleaning, or wringing. Iron on medium heat or spread a towel on top of the saree during ironing. Steam iron is recommended. It is ideal to dry clean stained silk sarees immediately.
